The acrylic paintings in the Gathering Collection were inspired by the warmth and beauty of the autumn season, and the joyful experiences that make up life’s most meaningful gifts.
Outstretch features a series of strong, sunlit branches that taper into thick foliage in cobalts, teals, mint greens, golden yellows, and deep scarlets. A series of gently-curving brushstrokes creates an impressionistic, upward-looking view into a sycamore tree that envelops the viewer in detail. The piece is grounded by a central trunk painted in ambers, corals, and maroons that reaches toward a dazzling sun in the upper right corner.
