The acrylic paintings in the Open Air Collection were inspired by the expansiveness found in wide-open natural settings, and the ability of nature to calm and center us.
“Expansive” captures a deeply colored teal and indigo sky as it brightens after a parting storm. Calm waters streaked in iris, amethyst, sapphire, cobalt and cyan slope gently around small groupings of trees and rocks painted in deep teal and indigo. Shimmering gold highlights reveal the emerging sunlight.
Overall dimensions: 36” w x 24” h x 1.5” d
