Towering trees painted in deep evergreens, rich dark blues, vivid purples and burgundies frame a narrow section of lake that glows with the bright yellow-white of the setting sun. Sweeping shadows are painted in deep blues, soft periwinkles and pinkish-purples on the gentle slopes of freshly-fallen snow, punctuated by bright, sunny spots of yellow and coral.
