The Light & Shadows Collection draws inspiration from the love and care shown by helpers during a dark and shadowy time, and from the radiant beauty of the Minnesota winter landscape.
A scene that radiates peace and gentleness, Snowside reveals an illuminated sky at sunset, featuring soft periwinkle clouds highlighted in oranges, pinks, and buttery yellows. A lone peninsula juts out from the right of the piece with soft, backlit trees and grasses tucked behind a calming blanket of snow. The radiant sunset cascades across the surface of a lake—painted in deep greens and purples, cornflower blues and dusky pinks, with highlights of glimmering gold.
