The Light & Shadows Collection draws inspiration from the love and care shown by helpers during a dark and shadowy time, and from the radiant beauty of the Minnesota winter landscape.
First Light is a portrait of a sleepy landscape beginning to awaken for the day with the first light of morning. Distant mountains and up-close hills flow from peak to peak in rich purple, deep turquoise, and soft, slumbering blue. Wisps of flowing color create an awakening sky in the soft pinks, rich purples and blues of dawn. The pale yellow that hints at impending sunrise cascades across the surface of a lake, painted in rich reds, glimmering golds, dusky pinks and snowy blues.
Painted with acrylics, varnished for UV protection on premium gallery wrapped canvas and wired for easy hanging the moment it arrives. Includes a hook and nail for easy hanging. Signed by artist Jenna Paulsen. Further details below:
