The Far & Wide Collection explores the vast, open-ended summer landscapes of the upper Midwest, bathed in warmth and light.
Interlude captures the glow of the Boundary Waters area of northern Minnesota, shining with the light of a new day. Misty waters reflect the sun at the base of distant pines painted in deep teals. A peninsula closer to the viewer is dotted with tall trees painted in chartreuse, olive, and deep ruby. Rocks and grasses are lit from the side and behind, creating a cascade of orange highlights that fall across the calm water’s surface.
Painted with acrylics, varnished for UV protection on premium gallery wrapped canvas and wired for easy hanging the moment it arrives. Includes a hook and nail for easy hanging. Signed by artist Jenna Paulsen. Further details below:
